2023 Fantasy Outlook
The 2021 first-rounder is looking to get on track after two uneven seasons to start his career. Oweh is clearly a toolsy athlete with the length (34.5-inch arms at 6-foot-5) and speed (4.39 40) to be a disruptive pass rusher. He needs to maximize those gifts, however, as he registered just three sacks on 611 snaps last season. This is a pivotal campaign for Oweh as Baltimore will make a decision on his fifth-year option next spring and the Ravens spent a fourth-round pick on an edge rusher to bring in extra competition. Undergoes thumb surgery
LBBaltimore Ravens
Thumb
February 2, 2024
Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Friday that Oweh underwent thumb surgery since the Ravens lost in the AFC Championship Game, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Oweh missed four games with an ankle injury earlier in the year, but it also seems as if he was dealing with a thumb issue that he's now had surgically repaired. Harbaugh mentioned that he expects Oweh's recovery to take roughly 6-to-8 weeks, which means the 2021 first-round pick should be ready for Baltimore's offseason programs, per Clifton Brown of the team's official site.

Big season on tap?
LBBaltimore Ravens
July 2, 2022
Nick Shook of NFL.com believes Oweh could be in store for the first Pro Bowl season of his career in 2022.
ANALYSIS
Oweh got off to a hot start during the 2021 campaign, recording 13 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles over the first five games of his career. The outside linebacker eventually cooled off and recorded just two more sacks before missing the final two games of last season with a foot injury. Oweh appears to be recovered from this injury and an offseason shoulder surgery, and he should once again benefit by playing alongside interior rusher Calais Campbell.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
The rookie first-rounder could bring a spark to a pass rush that is badly in need of one, especially after Matthew Judon's departure. Oweh did not record a sack in his last season at Penn State, but his film and elite athleticism still made him worthy of a first-round pick. He will compete for an immediate role as he projects as arguably the Ravens' best pass-rushing prospect despite the lack of collegiate production.
