Claims GTD Pole at Sebring
IMSA
March 18, 2022
Robichon's pole-winning Sebring lap of 1:59.763 in the No. 16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 91 GT3 R was 0.025-seconds quicker than the No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 of Robby Foley, sportscar365.com reports.
ANALYSIS
GTD competition for the pole proved to be just as tight as it was at Daytona to start the season. Robichon pushed the No. 16 Porsche to the edge and clipped Foley's BMW by the narrowest of margins. Wright Motorsports were the class winners at Daytona and they'll look to make it two-for-two in Saturday's Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.
