Ronning has yet to make his NHL debut since being selected by the Rangers in the seventh round of the 2016 NHL Draft. The 24-year-old winger garnered a career-best 39 points in 69 minor-league contests for AHL Hartford last year. Based on those numbers, Ronning could break into the NHL at some point this season but will likely continue to split his time between levels.
