Daccord, who will start for the 19th time in 21 games Tuesday versus the Sharks, appears cemented as the Kraken's top goalie, Geoff Baker of The Seattle Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Daccord took over the job when Philipp Grubauer went down with a lower-body injury in December. From there, the Kraken enjoyed a franchise-best nine-game winning streak. Even with Grubauer now healthy, he remains on the bench while Daccord is between the pipes. Daccord's strong play -- a 2.36 GAA, .920 save percentage and 15-8-9 record in his first year as an NHL regular -- have kept the Kraken in the hunt for a wild-card spot.
