Auston Matthews' drive for 70 goals makes him a promising pick for your Wednesday lineups on FanDuel.
With the Flames facing three vulnerable teams, Andrei Kuzmenko is primed to pile on the offensive production.

Favorite to start on top line
Bertuzzi is the likely favorite to start the season on the left side of Auston Matthews, according to Jonas Siegel of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Bertuzzi signed a one-year deal with the Maple Leafs on July 1 and saw plenty of top-line duty with the Red Wings during the last five seasons. Bertuzzi has had three 20-plus goal seasons in his seven-year NHL career, including 30 goals and 62 points in 68 games during the 2021-22 campaign. Matthew Knies, Max Domi and Calle Jarnkrok are also options should Bertuzzi and Matthews not click as a duo. Look for Mitchell Marner or William Nylander line up on the other side as both split time as first and second line right wingers.

2021-22 was a bounce-back season for Bertuzzi after he played in just nine games two seasons ago. He appeared in 68 of Detroit's 82 regular-season contests last year, with nine of those absences being the result of Bertuzzi not being allowed to play in Canada due to not having been vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Bertuzzi's 30 goals and 62 points were both new high-water marks last season, while his 14 points with the man advantage tied his previous career high. Bertuzzi should be considered a rock-solid fantasy pick as a potential point-per-game player entering the prime of his career at age 27.
