2023 Fantasy Outlook
During his five pro seasons, St. Brown has yet to record more than 21 receptions or one touchdown in a campaign. In 2022, his first year with the Bears, he had plenty of chances to earn playing time in one of the weaker wide receiver groups in the NFL. However, he surpassed 25 yards on only three occasions and had more than two catches twice in 16 games. After acquiring DJ Moore this offseason, the Bears' WR room now includes Moore, Darnell Mooney and Chase Claypool. As a result, expect St. Brown to compete with Tyler Scott, Dante Pettis and Velus Jones for reserve roles. Read Past Outlooks
Set for free agency
St. Brown caught one pass for 18 yards in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
St. Brown was most valuable as a blocker, which explains why he was targeted six times in seven games played despite being on the field between 37 and 59 percent of the snaps in each contest he suited up for. The veteran ended the season with five catches for 62 yards. After two seasons with Chicago and five years in the league, St. Brown is an unrestricted free agent.

Additional opportunity in '20?
St. Brown (ankle) could have a chance at the No. 4 receiver job in 2020 with Geronimo Allison now in Detroit.
ANALYSIS
St. Brown posted a 21-328-0 line across 12 games in his rookie 2018 campaign, but he saw his 2019 season wiped out by a preseason ankle injury. Assuming he's at full health entering training camp, St. Brown should have an opportunity to make his case for the No. 4 receiver job, although he'll likely have to contend with the likes of Jake Kumerow and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the role. St. Brown did flash some downfield chops two seasons ago, with five of his aforementioned 21 receptions going for at least 20 yards.

In his first three years in the league with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, St. Brown posted 585 yards and one touchdown over 37 games. He's expected to serve as a depth option for the Bears, though he could move into a significant target share if he moves into the top-three receivers on the depth chart.
