Landale confirmed Wednesday that he plans to test the free-agent market and forgo a return to Zalgiris in 2020-21, Eurohoops.net reports.

The 24-year-old signed a one-year contract with Zalgiris that included a mutual option for 2020-21, so Landale appears to have declined the opportunity to stick around in Lithuania. He was a solid contributor in his first EuroLeague campaign in 2019-20, averaging 11.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 assist per contest. Landale intends to pursue potential opportunities in the NBA, though he could return to Europe or elsewhere around the globe if he isn't able to secure a roster spot in North America.
