FCS transfer chooses Cincy
Berkhalter announced Jan. 10 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Cincinnati, joining the program as a transfer from FCS North Carolina A&T.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound wideout should get the chance to compete for a role in a new-look Cincinnati receiving corps that includes two other incoming transfers in Dee Wiggins (Louisville) and Keyshawn Helton (Florida State). As a sophomore at North Carolina A&T in 2022, Berkhalter recorded 28 catches for 414 yards and two touchdowns over 10 starts. He'll be able to compete right away at Cincinnati in 2023 with two years of eligibility to use.
