Benjamin logged a team-high in carries with sophomore Samuel Brown (foot) and senior Aaron Young (undisclosed) both unavailable Week 1. The true freshman running back also received the Scarlet Knights' first two rushing attempts ahead of junior Kyle Monangai, though the latter finished with a team-high in rushing yards as well the team's only rushing touchdown outside of dual-threat quarterback Gavin Wimsatt. It's unclear just how Rutgers' rushing workload will break down if/when Brown and Young are both healthy this season.
