Skeete worked a lot with the starting unit, including top quarterback Thomas Castellanos, during the first spring practice session Monday, AJ Black of 247Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Skeete was repping with Lewis Bond and Jerand Bradley in the first unit, suggesting he's opening spring in the mix to claim a wideout spot. Skeete claimed a role in the second half of the 2023 campaign with the Eagles, notching 12 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown over the final six games, and it appears he's still in the mix despite an influx of transfers this offseason. The slot wideout will still likely have to contend with Vanderbilt transfer Jyaden McGowan for a regular role this fall.
