Jackson announced Wednesday via his personal Twitter account that the NCAA approved his request for a waiver, making him eligible to play for SMU this season.
ANALYSIS
Jackson missed the Mustangs' first three games while he waited for a ruling on his status, but he'll now be available for the final eight contests of SMU's regular-season. The ex-Arkansas wideout checks in at 6-foot-4 and 197 pounds and will add another big target in the SMU passing game. However, Jackson may have a difficult time finding regular target volume right away with Reggie Roberson, Rashee Rice and Danny Gray all playing at a high level.
