McClure announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he would transfer to Clemson as a preferred walk-on.
ANALYSIS
McClure, a Class of 2017 recruit, committed to Jacksonville, but never played a snap for the FCS school. He'll add depth to the quarterback room in Clemson, but McClure will face an even more difficult path to playing time while moving to one of the FBS level's top programs. Expect him to enter the 2018 campaign no higher than fourth on the depth chart behind Kelly Bryant, Trevor Lawrence and Chase Brice.
