Snares 52-yard touchdown pass in victory
September 17, 2017
Foster hauled in a 52-yard touchdown pass against Colorado State on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
It was Foster's only grab of the game, and just his third catch of the season. The senior has battled injury issues throughout his time at Alabama, but this could be just the jumpstart he needs for a successful season as the No. 2 wideout behind Calvin Ridley.

Foster has had a tumultuous career at Alabama, and nearly transferred from the school in the offseason. He decided to stay for his senior campaign, though even that decision was almost derailed by a dirt bike accident in which he received 27 stitches on his back and wrist. Now healthy and still possessing blazing speed, Foster is looking to make a statement opposite Calvin Ridley during his final season in Tuscaloosa. Foster had just 21 catches for 205 yards and two touchdowns over his first three years with the Tide, and he must prove that he can shake off the injury bug and stay on the field in order to make a significant impact.
Foster looked to be well on his way to a big season early in the 2015 season before a torn rotator cuff sidelined him for the final nine games of the season. Prior to his injury, he had hauled in 10 receptions on 12 targets for 116 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The 6-2, 194 Foster is an absolute burner who fits best on the outside, but he has reportedly gotten some practice reps in the slot as well. Foster, alongside 2015 second team All-SEC selection Calvin Ridley, ought to combine to make one of the most dangerous receiving corps in all of college football. Alabama’s quarterback situation is up in the air heading to fall camp, but it’s a talented mix of players and any of them could end up putting up better production than Jacob Coker did a season ago. The team’s crowded wideout rotation could limit his ceiling, however.
