Burks rushed five times for 36 yards in Friday's 48-21 loss to Winnipeg. He also lost a fumble.
Burks and James Wilder both tied for the team lead in carries with five, but Burks was the more efficient of the duo, gaining three times as many yards. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old only had one carry in the first half and lost his first attempt of the second, so he just saw one more carry until handling the final two plays of the game, when he racked up half of his total yards. He will aim for a better result Week 6 at Calgary.
