According to Chris Fetters of 247Sports.com, Washington's head coach Danny Sprinkle wanted to add someone who can run the Huskies' offense, which makes sense with Sahvir Wheeler and Paul Mulcahy out of collegiate eligibility. After visiting the UW campus Thursday, Kortright has committed to them not even multiple days later, giving Sprinkle a new best option to run his offense. He averaged 10.0 points and 3.7 assists across his 32 games (31 started) played for Rhode Island.
