Kennedy committed to UTEP on Monday after transferring from Xavier, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Kennedy spent the beginning of the 2018-19 season with Xavier as a freshman, where he averaged 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 13.4 minutes before leaving the team for personal reasons mid-February and entering the transfer portal. The shooting guard verbally agreed to join TCU in April then decommitted from the program, and now ultimately lands elsewhere in his home state of Texas to play for the Miners. Unless Kennedy is granted a waiver from the NCAA, he'll have to sit out the 2019-20 campaign.
