Returns to DI ranks at Tulsa
GTulsa
July 23, 2019
Rachal announced April 9 that he would transfer to Tulsa in advance of the 2019-20 campaign, Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World reports.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-6 wing began his career at LSU in 2017-18, appearing in 27 games off the bench as a true freshman and averaging 4.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 15.9 minutes per contest. Rather than sticking around in Baton Rouge for another year, Rachal headed to Pearl River Community College in Mississippi, where he earned second-team NJCAA All-American honors this past season. Rachal should get every opportunity to vie for a starting role with Tulsa as he makes his return to the Division I level.
