Matches season high against UNLV
FBoise State
February 15, 2021
Alston had 27 points (8-16 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and a block across 39 minutes in Saturday's 61-59 victory over UNLV.
ANALYSIS
Alston was one of the top scorers in the conference earlier in the season but has been a bit more inconsistent of late, potentially due to some ankle troubles that surfaced in mid-January. He looked more like his regular self in this matchup after getting hot from distance, in addition to making a highlight-reel play in which he passed it to himself off the backboard. The senior has helped Boise State stay atop the Mountain West standings this year, and even if the Broncos let Utah State pull away, they could be in contention for an at-large bid. An all important two-game series against the Aggies awaits this week.
