FanDuel College Basketball: Saturday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel College Basketball series.

Selection Sunday is just a day away, and multiple conference tournament championships are on the line both today and tomorrow. For passionate college basketball fans, today through next Sunday is arguably the best week of the year. The Big Dance starts in three days (for the play-ins, at least) and I can't wait to begin working out my brackets. With that being said, let's take a look at today's FanDuel value plays:

Guards

Khadeen Carrington, Seton Hall vs. Villanova ($7,000) – Carrington has been on a tear of late, averaging 21.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game over his last four. He played 35-plus minutes in all four of those games, and the Pirates will rely heavy on both Carrington and teammate Isaiah Whitehead if they plan on beating Villanova. The sophomore guard averaged 15.5 points per game in the two matchups against Villanova during the regular season.

Alex Caruso, Texas A&M vs. LSU ($6,500) – Caruso is sort of the do-it-all type of player for the Aggies and he usually marks well across the board in multiple categories. The senior guard is averaging 6.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game over his last three, and he has a good shot of scoring in double figures in what should be a fast-paced, high scoring affair against LSU. Casruso has scored at least 20 fantasy points in three straight games, and four of his last five.

Jevon Carter, West Virginia vs. Kansas ($5,800) – Carter is averaging 9.8 points per game this season, but he's averaging 20.5 points per game over his last two. The sophomore guard averages 1.8 steals per game and leads the Mountaineers by playing 27.8 minutes per game. Although he's been streaky for much of the year in the scoring category, he's now scored at least 20 fantasy points in four straight games, and he'll have a good shot of reaching five straight against Kansas.

Other Notables: Malik Morgan, Tulane vs. Memphis ($7,000); London Perrantes, Virginia vs. North Carolina ($6,400)

Forwards

Vince Edwards, Purdue vs. Michigan ($6,400) – Edwards is averging 10.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game this season, and he's second on the team with 26.7 minutes per game. The sophomore forward has been hot, scoring at least 19 fantasy points in five straight games, and six out of his last seven. Edwards should have his way with a Michigan team that'll be playing their third game in as many days.

Danuel House, Texas A&M vs. LSU ($6,400) – House leads the Aggies in minutes by a long shot at 30.7 pe rgame, and he's second on the team in scoring at 15.3 points per contest. He's scored in double-figures in 13 of his last 14 games and should have no problem doing so against LSU. House has scored at least 18 fantasy points in nine of his last 10 games.

Duncan Robinson, Michigan vs. Purdue ($5,400) – Robinson is one of four Michigan players to average at least 11 points per game, and he's one of the best shooters in the country. The sophomore guard shoots 90.5 percent from the free-throw line and 45.4 percent from beyond the arc, and he's scored in double figures in three of his last four games. Robinson can be streaky at times, and he doesn't produce in more than two categories, but he should get a lot of looks Saturday against Purdue, and he comes with a very reasonable price.

Other Notables: Diamond Stone, Maryland vs. Michigan State ($7,300); Jonathan Holton, West Virginia vs. Kanas ($6,500)
