Appears in garbage time

May 22, 2019
Wilson (ankle) logged four minutes off the bench Tuesday in the Bucks' 120-102 loss to the Raptors in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals. He finished with zero points, one rebound and one block.
ANALYSIS
Listed as questionable heading into the day with the ankle injury that sidelined him from for Games 1 and 3, Wilson's entry into the contest late in the fourth quarter implies that he's reasonably healthy. The fact that Wilson's usage came in garbage time signals that he likely won't be a part of coach Mike Budenholzer's rotation in Game 5 on Thursday.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
Wilson had a breakout campaign last year at Michigan, posting 11.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.3 assists across 30.4 minutes per game while shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from deep. He fits the Bucks’ gameplan – postionless and long – almost perfectly. Wilson is 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan and projects to be a small forward/power forward at the NBA level. In addition to being a solid three-point shooter, he also has the ability to put the ball on the deck and make a move, which he can utilize as defenders close out on him aggressively on the perimeter. He’s also more than athletic enough to get out and run in transition and make smooth off-ball cuts – two things Milwaukee also likes to do. He may struggle at the NBA level rebounding and finishing at the rim, however, as he currently has a thin frame, weighing in at just 235 pounds. Defense could be an issue as well, as the Bucks play a switch-heavy defense, which could result in him matching up against bulky power forwards that could body him on the way to the rack. While he probably won’t garner a workload conducive to consistent Fantasy production, Wilson could end up seeing semi-rotational minutes next season, especially with Jabari Parker out until around February with a torn ACL.
