Celtics Dispose of Hornets, 119-93
The Boston Celtics defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 119-93, at TD Garden on Sunday evening.

The Celtics (20-7) may have suffered from a bit of overconfidence early, as the visiting Hornets (13-20) jumped out to a 37-30 first-quarter lead thanks to some efficient shooting. However, that initial scare seemed to wake Boston up, as the hosts erased their deficit altogether in the second and headed into halftime with a three-point edge. After tacking on another four points during the third period, the Celtics dominated on both ends of the floor over the final 12 minutes, outscoring Charlotte by a 35-16 margin in the fourth for the big home win.

Devonte' Graham paced the Hornets with 23 points, adding 10 assists and four rebounds. Bismack Biyombo followed with 18 points, three boards, two assists and two blocks. Miles Bridges turned in 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block. Terry Rozier tallied 14 points, four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block against his former squad.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 39 points, supplementing them with 12 boards, two assists, three blocks and one steal. Kemba Walker furnished 23 points, four assists and one rebound. Jaylen Brown supplied 16 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Grant Williams mustered 12 points, four boards, two assists, one steal and one block.

The Hornets head back home to face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, while the Celtics pay a visit to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday for a Christmas Day showdown.
