Taylor recorded three receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown and also scored a one-yard touchdown on his sole rush in the Empire's 62-21 playoff win over the Brigade on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Taylor co-led the Empire in receptions while pacing the team in receiving yardage. He found the end zone from 28 yards out through the air with 10:44 remaining in the first quarter, adding his one-yard rushing score with 1:46 left in the first half. Taylor was primarily a complementary pass catcher during the regular season, but with Malachi Jones (undisclosed) not seeing action Saturday, Taylor enjoyed a more prominent profile. The scope of the veteran's role in next week's ArenaBowl remains to be seen.
