Suspects broken leg
MCollingwood Magpies
Leg
July 23, 2021
Pendlebury told ABC radio that he may have suffered a broken leg during the Round 19 loss to Port Adelaide, according to Jon Ralph of the Herald Sun.
ANALYSIS
Pendlebury has been one of the more important players on an otherwise bad Magpies club, so his absence would be another downer in a down season. He'll await further scans over the coming week to confirm his status.
Makes nine tackles in win
MCollingwood Magpies
June 5, 2021
Pendlebury made nine tackles to go with 21 disposals (11 kicks, 10 handballs) and took five marks during Saturday's 78-73 win over Adelaide in Round 12.
ANALYSIS
Pendlebury went between Round's 3 and 12 without surpassing 100 fantasy points scored in a game. As a result, he certainly needs more time to prove what he can do, while Steele Sidebottom has shown better scoring potential for a similar stat line to Pendlebury.
Starts season with 25 dispos
MCollingwood Magpies
March 19, 2021
Pendlebury logged 25 disposals (15 kicks, 10 handballs) and made five tackles in addition to scoring one behind during Friday's 69-53 loss to Western Bulldogs.
ANALYSIS
Pendlebury led his team in touches but it didn't amount to much when the Bulldogs had eight players collect more disposals than him. If Collingwood continue to be dominated in the midfield as they were in this match, at least Pendlebury should get plenty of time with the footy.
Pies best in Friday's loss
MCollingwood Magpies
September 4, 2020
Pendlebury contributed 29 disposals (17 kicks, 12 handballs), six tackles, three marks and one behind in Friday's loss to the Lions.
ANALYSIS
Pendlebury was hot early as the Pies built a narrow lead but they were unable to hold on, falling by eight points. As well as his 29 disposals, Pendlebury led all players with a game-high eight clearances and seven inside-50s. The Pies remain inside the top-8 for now but they are going to have to string a couple of wins together if they are to secure a finals spot.
Good to go Saturday
MCollingwood Magpies
August 14, 2020
Pendlebury will rejoin the lineup for Saturday's game against Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Pendlebury's return is a major boon for a Collingwood squad who just lost the likes of Brayden Sier (quad) for most, if not all, of the season and will be without Jordan de Goey (finger) and Jeremy Howe (knee) for extended periods as well. Pendlebury should be thrust into a starring role as a result, looking to return to the form he displayed early in the season when he was averaging more than 26 disposals and tallying high numbers of marks an tackles.
