Strong in loss
MFremantle Dockers
September 2, 2020
Acres logged 27 disposals (15 kicks, 12 handballs) in addition to making six marks and completing five tackles during Wednesday's 56-29 loss to Richmond.
ANALYSIS
Acres has been in and out of the lineup over the past two months but was finally able to make a real impact in a match. Though his team wasn't able to secure the win in the end, Acres showed that the Dockers do have some real fight to them, even against top opponents. Though he doesn't have much time to prove he can do this consistently, Acres will have some good matchups to finish the season strong.

June 15, 2020
Fremantle high performance manager Jason Weber said that Acres (calf) won't be available Sunday for Fremantle's Round 3 match with Port Adelaide, Jordan McArdle of The West Australian reports. "He's got a small strain. He's up and running [Sunday] morning but he'll miss this week," Weber said of the midfielder. "We look forward to having him available next week."
ANALYSIS
Acres' Fremantle debut looks like it will have to wait until the Dockers' Round 4 match with Gold Coast on June 27 while he continues to work back from a minor right calf strain. The ex-St. Kilda midfielder has been sidelined since suffering the injury in the Dockers' final training session of last week prior to the team's Round 2 loss to Brisbane.

June 11, 2020
Acres was spotted icing his right calf after training for a little more than 10 minutes Thursday, Joshua Daw of Nine News Perth reports. The issue will force him to sit out Saturday's game against Brisbane, according to Ryan Daniels of 7 News.
ANALYSIS
Acres was expected to make his season debut for the Dockers in Round 2 after recovering from previous calf injury, but he will have to wait at least another week following his latest setback. Look for more information to surface on his timetable once the doctors get a thorough look at the problem.
