20 disposals, six marks v. GWS
FEssendon Bombers
July 25, 2021
Snelling cleared 20 disposals, six marks and tackles each and a pair of clearances Sunday as Essendon fell to GWS 66-53 at Metricon Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Snelling's 10 kicks and 10 handballs found him one of only four Essendon players to best 20 disposals versus GWS while his six tackles aligned him with Darcy Parish as the match's No. 2 in that respective category. The 23 year-old has now failed to top 100 fantasy points in 12 consecutive showings, but exits July having averaged a solid 87.75 points a game for the month.

Thumb
June 29, 2021
Snelling (thumb) is listed as a test to return in Round 16 against Geelong, according to head of high performance Sean Murphy. "(Snelling) is a test this week and he'll do some ball handling, making sure he's really comfortable with that and he'll be a good chance to play this weekend."
ANALYSIS
Snelling has yet to play in June but should now be back in the next couple of weeks at the latest. A season-high score of 112 points from Round 3 mean Snelling can put up big fantasy numbers on occasion.

ANALYSIS
Snelling has been out since he suffered a broken thumb in Round 11 versus West Coast. The 23-year-old will be with Essendon through 2023. Through 11 matches in 2021, Snelling has scored at least 60 fantasy points in all but the contest versus West Coast in which he was injured.

June 1, 2021
Snelling suffered a fractured thumb during Round 11 against West Coast and will need surgery, according to head of high performance Sean Murphy.
ANALYSIS
Snelling will probably miss multiple weeks, though a timeline will be set after the operation is performed to confirm the length of his absence. He's played in every game so far this season and his 16.9 disposals per start makes him a mid-value forward most of the time.

FEssendon Bombers
July 26, 2020
Snelling made 11 tackles to go with 18 disposals (four kicks, 14 handballs) during Sunday's 62-59 win over Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Snelling has only scored three times this season and gotten most of his production through other means. Though he's capable of good efforts, Snelling's consistency leaves something to be desired.
